Broker Check

Let's schedule a meeting to review your portfolio

April 03, 2025

As you gather documents for your annual tax preparation, it’s also the perfect time to holistically examine your financial situation. Over time I find that, for many people, needs change. Your goals and needs now may be more complex or quite different than they were when we first set up your investments.  And while your needs were changing, the world was also changing. Markets, investment options and tax laws have all evolved.

Why does this matter? When we meet about your taxes, I also would like to spend time looking at your current situation, needs and goals, and assess whether the investments and other plans we made remain the best options, and whether they remain the most tax-efficient choices for you.

 Some things to consider:

  • Brokerage accounts may meet your needs better and provide enhanced access to a broad range of investment products consolidated in one account, which helps streamline the tax management of your investments.
  • An advisory account provides access to a universe of non-proprietary mutual funds, exchange-traded funds and other securities to help build a portfolio with an asset allocation that aligns with your tolerance for risk. In addition, for an annual percentage fee charged against the value of assets in your account, you would receive professional monitoring and ongoing management of your investment portfolio, including rebalancing and tax-smart investment management.
  • Consolidating your assets would mean one login, one report and one statement. You have the ability to combine multiple accounts with the same registration (such as multiple IRAs) under one account or set up a household group of multiple accounts with different registrations (such a Joint account, IRA, Trust) all managed together by one entity on the same platform.
  • Special situations might be best addressed with a full financial plan that focuses on risk management and retirement strategies.

Please give me a call at or email me  to schedule your appointment. I look forward to seeing how we might expand our relationship to best address your specific financial situation.

Yours sincerely,
